If I can quote some facts from the "Chinchilla News" Mr Andrew Chipps Queensland Government Minister for Natural Resources and Mines sayes, "We have done an inital investigation and it appears to be occurring naturally, that is our assessment at this stage," he said. "There are four well in the area, the closest being 1.4 klms away. These are not production wells and they have never been fracked. The closest production well is 12 klms away. Water quality testing down-stream and up-stream , has confirmed there no environmental issues."
