Victorian new building permits are very close to banning wood fire installation. Which will lead to banning the collection of wood from the current approved forestry areas. Councils are already banning gas connections to new houses. This is a serious problem for people living in rural and remote areas.
The biggest issue still to be addressed is the inability of the national grid to meet the increase in electricity usage and distribution required to meet our net zero emission commitments. Get ready for increased power cuts, shortages, and a major set back in our standard of living.
