IMHO: Forget about the feel good policies of the politicians both left and right; face the reality.
There are over 7 billion people on earth and increasing rapidly. What are the daily combined emissions of the 3rd. world cooking on wood? Or the effect of bushfires, volcanos etc. etc.?
The only way to really achieve a sustainable reduction in carbon emissions is to come up with the technology to remove it direct from the atmosphere.
IMHO: Forget about the feel good policies of the politicians...
