At some point, gas supplies will be hit hard enough that we will end up with power rationing. Not only has the sector been hit with the price cap, they will now have to deal with the new abundance of offset regulations. As I've said before, I consider myself a political pragmatist - whatever makes overall sense. The current overaching energy policies will come back to haunt us eventually. That's the start and finish of my political rant on this thread
I will re-emphasise this point again though - SN and the team has done a fantastic job in managing this risk by developing a plan that will see our gas being some of the lowest emission gas production in the country, and probably the world. It will serve the shareholder extremely well in what could be a very tight market. I just feel for the country and consumers as a whole because I can feel a major energy crisis in the making.
