I was actually not making any statements on whether or not the Senate structure is good or bad, workable or unworkable, I simply stated it was more representative of the Australian people than the HOR. To rephrase that - the senate more closely resembles a bunch of ordinary Australians put in a room than the HOR.
The merits of the HOR vs the Senate and the system as a whole is another discussion entirely to the one I was having. So I'm not sure exactly what you are on about either!
