I understand that the senate is probably a bit of a sore point for Australia's right at the moment.

Like anything that goes against the self-interest of the Right, it must be furiously railed against and suppressed when in power, this includes but is not limited to: ICAC, the right to remain silent, freedom of association, our judicial system, Clover Moore, the right of people to boycott (selectively applied to leftist causes) etc etc.

But I digress. Back on the point of government (read: consistutional) reforms, I personally wouldn't be against a couple of sensible changes to the senate voting process (perhaps allowing Langer votes again).

Perhaps though, we could just do away with the senate altogether and go unicameral.

Better yet, lets just scrap this whole parliament and democracy thing, deport all the Greens and ALP supporters and appoint Tony Abbott as Knight Exemplar and Chief Protector of Australia for life.
