The MP was fingerprinted and asked how she got her Aussie passport on arrival in the States. Ah, not happy having this occur to her. Oh dear, poor thing. Dr Faruqi found the staff at LAX hostile and shocked to be interrogated in such a manner. Fair enough, but then again, America has a culture of aggression, particularly within the ranks of those with power...any power at all in fact.
She is over there on a "fact finding mission" in relation to drug reform. Hmmm, the States started "the war on drugs" now recognised as an abysmal failure. More likely to cut back on the competition...
At the same time she will be visiting her rellies there. How nice and a 'free' trip to boot.
