Nothing to see here in my view, America is not Australia and their border policies differ to ours. Why not have a whinge about racial profiling etc while you are there at the airport? Oh, that's right, you will be put on the next plane home. Much easier to do so when you get back home and whinge in the media.
If you don't like their rules then don't go to that country, it is not difficult. The American immigration people have always been at the tough end of the spectrum (I got a grilling from them when I was 15 visiting my father), it is not a new thing.
