Hmmm, I thought we already had the global warming when the sea level rose and cut off Tasmania from mainland Australia!

I also seem to remember from my school days that "matter cannot be created or destroyed" so all this carbon we are now releasing already existed at some stage before it was locked away by ancient forests and all we are doing now is unlocking it again; its the same carbon, we are not creating anything new.

What we are doing now in concentrating it in the cities and polluting the air in those cities and at most creating local "hot spots".

As humans we may be able to clean up the air in the cities (and that’s a good thing) but I doubt we can change the GLOBAL climate.

As a human I'm more worried that the bird flue will mutate and devastate the human race than us humans being able to change the climate.

The thing that really worries me is that some of these climate change fanatics are starting to sound like religious evangelists ramming their "gospel" down everyone's neck.

And finally I don't see how getting stung with a "Carbon Tax" is going to reduce global warming except may be I wont have the money to keep myself warm!
