All RFX needs from government is a level playing field free from politicians picking winners and losers and otherwise distorting the market. The unintended consequences of such interference are legend. Subsidising batteries will end up as more largess for the rent seeking Middle class with lower income people paying both higher electricity rates and rent. The technology must succeed on its merits and only time will prove that. The debate about wind farms in Denmark shows just how complex the politics of renewables can get.
