For anyone who cares about accuracy, these days wee Waa is an outpost of Narrabri, which is a major service town for the many cotton and oil seed crops grown in the area.

It is sad to see anyone put people down like that, especially when it is just so ridiculous. The town of Wee Waa literally clothes and feeds tens of thousands of people, so they can't be completely dumb.

Wee Waa was really put on the map in the seventies when the Americans came to town and started the cotton industry. Check out Namoi Cotton.
