Yes, very scary a situation my friend... And as it is now, there is (unfortunately) no way out...... Greenspan knows that by raising interest rates (while the US economy is still in a moribund state) can help, at least for the time being, the strengthening of the $US. By that is only a last resort solution to buy time (and to give a good pretext to other Reserve-Banks to buy the US$$$ (and US Bonds-Securities). However, how long will this keep going on for? Will ultimately gold become the world currency? I think we will see -in our life time- momentous economic-financial happenings, not seen, witnessed before, in the history of mankind..... I believe, right now, a surreptitious "shift" of financial and economic power is taking place.......
