Did anything change with the referendum that fixed up the concerns that Craven had? If the answer is no then his comment is being used appropriately and isn't disinformation or deceit. The fact he didn't want his quote used is in itself of zero relevance, either what he said about the risks with the "V"oice remain as a risk or they don't - if they don't remain then he has a point.
