Watso... "germany is building heaps of coal fired power stations - and burning lignite coal - which is the dirties to the coal - because germany got rid of nuclear."
Watso you are right on the mark
Germany the powerhouse of Europe has seen that they cannot keep losing manufacturing to cheaper producing countries like China
And Chine has been taking Western technology by the truckload as our companies close down
Germany like USA has now come to terms with the issue already.... they must compete with China by reducing their costs... highest costs are power costs and wages or lose it all
Australia has that same lesson to accept here
Now is the time to remove any of the Agenda21 UN agreements that our government signed up to, which was to create laws and restrictive legislation and to use union pressure (yes go read the agenda 21 agreements) to force companies to leave wealthy western countries
Do this or we will lose it all
Our government has the obligation to look after THIS country our health and feed our people first
Since the 70's this does not appear to be any of our governments first priority
Sold a dead puppy by the UN IMO
Do you want schools and hospitals and all the other goodies that cost big money in this country?... then get real and get competitive business and manufacturing back into this country
And that means CHEAP power (no co2 tax or ANY taxes on power) which we have in spades or reduce our wages
Why would we think it's ok to put bricks on the backs of our Olympic games participants
How about asking the workers which do they want... make power cheaper or reduce wages
Or lose their jobs to overseas
A clear choice that needs addressing
My opinion G48
