    Thats where you may find a problem with me. I have just published a book titled "My Whaling Days". I was a whaler. I was in charge of building and managing a whaling
    station in New Zealand in the 1950s. I was a consultant to Queen Salote in Tonga, a consultant to the Cook Islands administration and to a company in Figi. I worked at Byron Bay's whaling station previous to that.

    To me whales are a resource and could be sustainably harvested. Onassis was the one responsible for the carnage that almost saw whales on the way to extinction in the 50s. He took no notice of quotas and had a fleet of 50 ships working all year round. His fleet was caught in Peruvian waters and confiscated. Current numbers justify some harvesting.
