You ratbags seem unable to think clearly enough to realise that the dodgy contractors who put these poor unsuspecting workers into dangerous situations completely untrained and unprepared for the work are the ones who are culpable.

Ok, so you are saying that because the "Government" put into place an opportunity for some "dodgy contractors" to make a killing, (no pun intended), they have nothing to answer for?
What they did was put into place an opportunity for anybody to plunge into an business installing insulation batts into homes with zero criteria or previous experience required. All you need is an ABN and away you go. Just send the bill to this email address and we will send you a cheque...no questions asked!
There was no requirement to have previous experience in this industry, no set training procedures or credentials, nothing, nothing at all. These imbeciles, KRudd the head imbecile, being he had zero experience in commercial matters or business in any form, was allowed to effectively set up business as the head contractor in installing insulation batts into homes around the country, that's what he was, employing contractors with no experience and subsequently employing kids to do the dirty work...with no training.
Rudd IMO is totally responsible for the outcome...he came up with the idea...he is responsible for the outcome...tragic as it was. The fact that "dodgy" operators swooped on the cash is something he and his hopeless bunch of misfits charading as a Government SHOULD have preempted. We all saw it coming before it even happened...why should these idiots walk away with no responsibility for their actions. We saw KRudd even avoid fronting the parents of the kids that died, what a poor excuse for a Prime Minister, he could not even front and talk to the people involved, the people that pay his damned wages!
But, let alone the number of good viable family businesses that were in the insulation industry prior to Rudd destroying them, they lost everything, years of work to build something that the idiot Rudd destroyed overnight!
Chucky, seriously, you need to look outside the cozy little socialist box you quite obviously live in and realise there are a hell of a lot of people that had their livelihoods and families destroyed through the actions of one fool, carried away in his own importance, and who by all appearances does not give a s***!
