UK’s Griffin snaps up Yukon Zinc and its Canadian project

UK junior Griffin Mining announced a friendly, all-share offer to buy Canada’s Yukon Zinc and its Wolverine zinc-lead-copper project in Yukon Territory.
Yukon Zinc has been badly affected by the recent global financial market turmoil, unable to raise sufficient funds to develop the project, which has been slated to produce around 33,300t of contained zinc and 3,400t contained lead per year over a 10-year mine life.
