Yes, the LNP candidate is well known in the electorate, and today is his second try at winning the seat, having lost to Kevin Rudd in the Sept 2013 election.
What with "Abbott doing a great job", "Tony stopping the boats", "Abbott a great prime minister", just some of the claims made by his supporters here on hotcopper, the LNP candidate still could not win.
The truth is, Tony is on the nose. Tonight is a wake-up call to Tony and his gang to govern for all Australians, not just for his supporters.
