I expect that AVB would have contingency plans for capital raising in case Vale doesn't pay early and in case they can't raise debt. Wouldn't that just be clever management - or actually just competent management? And having a Plan B and C doesn't necessarily mean that they will use those plans.

However, knowing that there is a possibility of a capital raising would certainly keep the SP suppressed.

So, following on from that logic, the sooner the issue is resolved (either through a raising or through obtaining other funding), the better.

Anyone know if anyone covering AVB (ie Stock Resource, Pattersons, Bells) has been making comments about a CR being needed?
