Coomy - I don't expect the world to do me a favour - quite the contrary. I want the government to stop taking my tax to do a gigantic list of favours (FHOG, negative gearing, housing exemptions for pensions and on and on and on) for existing property owners and speculators.
A level playing field is all I want. It's actually less than what property buyers in the 1970s had because government did not then have a user pays approach to new land releases. So I'd actually be happy to suck it up for less than what you had if you bought your first house in the 1970s or beforehand.
