From appearances, there is very limited scope for the Ortahaza project in Hungary. The temperature was not high enough, and the project was different in many ways from the operations that are to commence in Australia.

Ortahaza was in sedimentary carbonates (much, much easier to stimulate than granites), and did not require drilling (the Olympic Dam site will involve drilling through kilometres of overpressured granites at 200*C).

It doesn't seem as if many of the skills developed at Ortahaza will be relevant in Australia. The Hungarian partners will not be assisting this time, either.

It seems GRK are almost starting from scratch at Olympic Dam, although have lessons to learn from GDY's mistakes.
