In saying that i'll add that these pioneering stocks are spec stocks. They do carry risk and that is why the rewards need to exceed the mundane.

The risk can be assessed by first examining the product.
Yes the product has a good future.

Next examine the funding. The funding will get some government assistance. There may need for more company funds and if there is it will probably because of the cost of commercialisation. In that event it will be because of the profit potential being established. This could involve a joint venture partner or an SPP or both. A take over is also possible at this stage.

Examine the management. They appear to be doing a good job as far as outsiders like us can see.

That is the main boxes ticked that I need as an investor.
