Blanche probably is a test hole. Remember that the 2 things you need for successful HDR is temperature and flow rate. Temps as low as 73 degrees C have been used to generate Geothermal power. BHT for Blanche 1 is 83 degrees C one could extrapolate that to 70 degrees C per km giving 210 degrees C at 4km or 290 degrees C at 5km but GRK is much more conservative. What GRK is going for now is the flow rate.
