    My rough calculations are included in this thread. Capex for plants will be similar, as will be opex, and as such the MW thermal:MW electric ratio applied to the total contained energy determines cost/MWh. In GDY's case, significant transmission costs must also be included.

    No geothermal will ever bear the burden of fuel costs, so almost all production costs are derived from capex.

    A higher temperature indicates a higher contained energy. This correlates exponentially to output. At 160C, it is unlikely that geothermal energy can be produced at $50/MWh in Australia. There is no evidence to support this figure. Where are Dr Goldsteins figures?

    So my personal, rough and comparison-only calculations are online for your dissection, would you care to post yours? This is for discussion only, and I will state again that these figures can change easily if GRK redefine their targets.
