Yeah that's macro and old news Werona. They have been saying it for ages now. I think it's gathering a bit of steam with more acceptance. Is it a bit of cat n mouse though? They have plenty of their own resources and used to be the biggest producer decades ago.
Personally I think we should have our own strategic supplies instead of sending them off shore to fund other larger nations armies.
Considering one army out there is building mock real life installations and practicing war drills on them now, it might be not so good to supply anything more to them.
I digress.
No my comments are more concerned about with the direct picture for GRL.
Yes there's a demand and money to be made but it's good to question the picture here. Most of the Rare metals listed I need to research a bit more. Yes they a rare but are they what the US Army needs? There's plenty of rare ones and they all have specific uses. And can we supply it in commercial quants? You can get caught up in a macro and wonder why your stock goes no where cause it has the title but when you dig further you realise it's just a distant cousin.
The plus so far is they seem to be in sufficient amounts to for comments to say it was already a economic resource under an old Jorc.
If it's an easy score to go deeper on other projects then all for it.
The reason I mentioned toxicity though is it can become a pretty big sore point with lawyers getting involved. It's reasonable to be cautious with it. To be rational you need to weigh up pros and cons.
anyway probably too heavy subject for the light art of mathematical equations and graphs and so yes back to normal programs.....
