I don't hold Myer anymore as I believe they have lost their way. It was mentioned in the management meetings I attended that the focus core group that they are trying to reach was lost so its a bit like they are fumbling in the dark. They are slow to take up new opportunities. The online department was so slow to come online( sorry about the pun). Boans had a massive mail order department so we ( Myer) took over their customers and it flourished. Go to the library and see if you can get an old Boans mail order catalog. It was an encylopedia compared to Myers. Its sad when I think of the early days when I started, Myer was the place to shop. David Jones ( Aherns ) then were miles behind. Now Dj's is the fore front of retailing. They are trying to reach an audience that they are out of touch with. Its good to exchange with a fellow Christian. All these comments are my opinion only.
