Why dont they have copper figures yet ? How do you know the JORC is wrong.

Contrast what CDU put in the qtr report e.g picture of big rock (usually scaled by a water bottle) with someone holding an instrument showing 65% copper.

This is what Sandfire put in their qtr reports, this an extract from the March 2012 qtr report.

Note how they clearly state what is mined or crushed, the tonnage and copper percentage.

First Chalcocite Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) was
mined from the Open Pit on 17 February 2012.
At the end of the Quarter 4,750t of chalcocite
DSO grading 34% Cu and 3gt Au had been
mined and crushed. In addition some 1.4 million
tonnes of oxide copper material grading 1.1%
Cu and 169,000 tonnes of oxide gold ore
grading 2.1g/t Au has been mined and
    stockpiled.
A total of 6.6 million bank cubic metres (bcm) of
material had been mined from the open pit to the
end of the March Quarter. The planned open pit
is over 75 per cent complete, and is currently at
a depth of 65 metres below surface.
An agreement has been reached with Barrick
(Plutonic) for the sale of some 100,000 tonnes of
higher grade oxide gold ore currently stockpiled
on site and forecast to be mined. Trucking of this
ore to the Plutonic Gold mine for processing
    commenced during the Quarter.

    3.2 Underground Mining

First ore from the underground mine was hauled
to the surface on 28 February 2012. Total ore
mined and delivered to the surface for the
Quarter was 1,000 tonnes grading 3% Cu.

You can not tell me that a professional company does not know what they have mined and stockpiled. Oz minerals also publish what has been dug up and the grade in the qtr reports. BTW Ozmin cost is $1.10 lb.

That begs the question, do CDU know what they have mined and the grade, if they do not, there seems to be a competence issue. If they are competent and do know, why are the not releasing the information ? A wild guess suggests that it is not because the grades are a bonanza way over the JORC. Would it not have been beneficial during the capital raising last year to have published exactly what they had mined and copper percentage if it was far in excess of anticipation based on JORC.
