Your broker is your interface to the system, they either have a fully automated system into SEATS or enter trades manually - like everybody outside of Commsec and Etrade/ANZ.
Trust me I am old school!
FMS has been shorted and shorted hard. Somebody had to sell all those millions of shares in order for somebody to buy them and prior to October last year nobody even owned it in the amounts that have been traded recently.
