Sidr makes some good points. Those who have been with Lihir or Newcrest since the early days will know that a producing gold mine goes into production only after a lot of setbacks. I would hate CTO to go the way of some of the other startup gold producers I have owned and get taken over for a song because the Australian market was impatient on the final phase.(remember Aurion gold?)
On a second note, a number of members talked to Chris Towsey after the Brsbane EGM. There are no surprises between what happened in the quarterly report and what Chris was telling us to expect.
Maybe (hopefully) the share price will weaken after this announcement...because come September I think things will be looking a lot better, and these prices will be seen for the bargain that they are.
