It might be that many holders are sick and tired of holding on in dreams and selling out.
It might also be the case that someone is trying hard to keep the shares price up so that there is not going to be a mad rush to the exit doors.
But IMO it is definitely not the case that a T/O is on the wing when anyone willing to do a takeover would want the share price to go down as much as possible.
