And just as an add on to my 'rant', if they were so confident of a December release, they probably had something in the works that may have fell through or just may be taking some time due to diligence/paperwork, etc. Either way, just say you'd release something January. One, we wouldn't be on edge and then if you released something Dec or even mid Jan you'd look like heroes. Why say December, not release Dec, look like jackasses, then release something Jan that the market will take gingerly due to your failure to come good previously.
Not even basic mgmt skills, basic humanity 101.
