I'd like to see the Greens advocate a Land or Property value tax. It should actually be a calculation of taxing the entire rental value of land as proposed by Henry George. To Tax away the monopoly privelege of Economic Rent. That's something I do not expect the Greens will ever do. They seem to act as a party for the Landed Gentry whenever there is any conflict with mining. It's kind of a funny thing that Landholders are always on the opposite side of where the jobs are. We saw this in the Industrial Revolution in Britain when farm workers were bid away from farms by the higher wages of factory production.
