I can but try - so far no reply, which is suggestive to me.
I think that gungadin has nailed a key reason for the relative support for PVM. Perhaps they are also close to getting their funding sorted out - but I think they should wait a bit so that they can get the machinery cheaper now that so few projects are likely to proceed. There seems to be good support for PVM on the TSX, but one needs to recognise that the current price there is only around 7 cents above cash backing so the value being placed on the gold is pretty low.
There are another 2 and a bit weeks left of tax loss selling to go, after which shares take a while to recover. Perhaps in late July or early August AMX, GRY and PVM will again start to make a bit of a run, unless the POG kicks up sooner (unlikely as June and July are usually the worst months for gold).
The whole Oz market is in a world of pain as much of the gains from the last 6 months get vapourised, so at least us goldiebugs have a lot more company in Jim Cramer's "House of Pain". These days Hotcopper is looking more like some of the other chatsites that have turned into "ghostsites".
