There is a lot of private money around for funding mining projects with the right parameters (IRR, NPV, scale). They are shy on exploration of course (but even this is starting to change), but a project like AMX if it has the right numbers should attract investment. The amounts to be invested are surprisingly high...money is shedding out of other investments at the moment.
However generally these guys are not wanting to get too involved with ASX (they do not understand it, are wary), so likely to invest straight into the project....or poss buy amx and go private???
there are lots of ways the project can be funded.
