misty, for most small business owners in regional areas, they have to draw a long bow to make any connection between the government spending and what benefits flowed to them. What the do see is all the red tape that makes it difficult for them to run their businesses and employ people, and the wanton waste of throwing money away without getting something of value in return. If ever there is a group of people who really understand the principles of financial responsibility and the need to ensure that value must be given and received in order for businesses to prosper, it is this group of people. Only those who perpetually stand around with their hand out waiting for something to land in it with minimum input on their part, will have been impressed with how the government has acted so far.
