re: ** r.i.p My issue is why must you "average down" in RTM?
Isn't it possible that you can find a better stock to place the funds you "average down" in RTM with?
Why is there this necessity to at least get out even when a spec stock is purchased?
I know an ex-trader who was wiped out by averaging down. He couldn't accept that he was wrong and kept averaging down at lower and lower prices.
If a spec trade starts to go against me or I get nasty vibes or decide my purchase was a mistake I am usually out - and quick at that.
I very rarely average down. I regularly average up.
