Smart holders of convertible notes will vote a resounding "NO'! Why? .. because the trustee has gained enough votes to do a forensic assessment of the companies situation. Given the investigation must conclude in 15 working days (after the companies own desired meeting date of the 31st of March) and the report is confidential, noteholders have absolutely no downside voting a very big NO!. Depending on the conclusion of the investigation, only two scenarios will be recommended....
1)The whole story re a bonified sale was fabricated to provide a solution to possible redemption of the notes (more than likely)
2) The offer of company assets was a genuine offer but from a buyer with no ability to settle but it is in the investors interest to allow the company to continue to trade in an attempt to sell various assets.
An investigative accountant should be given access to all records, not excluding bank statements but more importantly, all email correspondence with Wade Energy. All salaries to company management/staff/directors should cease effective immediately!
