I enjoyed reading that Merck have already placed 2 additional orders for calendar year 2020 resulting in expected Alusion sales of $3,200,000 for the full year. When you compare the actual Alusion sales for calendar year 2019 of $1,326,097, there is a significant increase for the year. Let's hope the growth rate continues as industrial applications are discovered.

April 2023 is when Merck's exclusive rights expire. Merck sell the product under the name RonaFlair White Sapphire. The alumina platelets are also classified as synthetic sapphire. While we have already read about Apple Inc taking out a patent using Alusion, I have been keeping a close eye on Saint Gobain. You might recall Saint Gobain developed the patent for Apple Inc. In 2019, Saint Gobain had 42.6 Billion Euro in sales and employed 170,000 people. Lev would describe Saint Gobain as an elephant. Saint Gobain have been taking patents out using Alusion since 2015.
