I've heard this " US MSM is owned by 6 corporations" I was having a lunch with an old man years ago. Very wise, successful Aussie/Italian. He sold his newspaper to Murdoch back in the day. I never studied economics but the basics of spending a higher price to buy out regional news is a short term acquisition cost, leading towards a monopoly. It scared me a bit back then but was reading a book by Robert Greene I think (I read a lot). Robert was talking about some of the other men who lead grew massive monopolies in different industries in similar ways. They often had ego/self-concept issues.
There was a great TV show 'The men who built America'. Yuval Harari's 3 books are also great. Cleon Skousen. Nassim Taleb. However I'm struggling to find any credibility in authors supporting MSM messages.
