Health workers suffer from influenza at a rate about 4 times the normal population - so I find it hard to believe there is any inherent natural immunity as far as covid is concerned.
Health care workers don't just have to deal with covid patients and most of the other patients in the system are compromised in some form, healthwise, making them more vulnerable to exposure to covid.
