Novartis walking away weakened MSB.
Later Novartis comes along and makes a take over offer at a lower price than before due to its prior actions.....
They make it look less suss by using one of MSB's other areas of focus as their primary concern this time around.
Now the FDA saying no trials until..... is a very unusual statement. As unusual as the show us your best heart data...... Different powers in play with each probably.
