Dr John Parker is on the PBI board as a non-executive director appointed on the 31/03/2004, so he has been around a while to have some sort of influence in the direction of the company. It is VERY interesting to note that Dr John Parker is on the Cochlear board as the Cheif Technology Officer appointed 19/03/2002. So i have no doubt he has been around in these companies long enough to make an impact. The great news about this last announcement by Cochlear is that it involves a whole lot of backup support and training of surgeons in China, and when they talk about supporting infrastructure one can only assume with PBI developing a COH implant simulator that they will take on a massive role and hopefully see some of that 270 million dollars.
