There is an interesting article in the Fin today talking about a jump in people heading o/s. Overall the article is supportive of VBA's share price. The key points: 8.5% jump in o/s trips in august 09 relative to august 08 due to AUD and competition - its 47% cheaper to head to the US in july 08 relative to july 09. Even though the AUD's much higher people visiting Australia has only dropped by 1%. Lets hope Virgin can extract maximum value from these stronger numbers.
