You'd better have a look at the share distribution in all Australian companies, they all have foreign investors on the register and they're all subjected to the same Australian Taxation laws.
Whats interesting to note is that Grange has almost double the number of Mum and Dad shareholders who own more than 100,000 shares than the likes of MGX.
Grange has 548 shareholders who own more than 100,000 shares, whereas MGX only has 300.
MGX has considerably more shareholders but most only have very small holdings in comparison.
Most MGX shareholders only hold a piddling amount ie less than 10,000 shares.
Grange shareholders hold far more shares each and stand to profit far more since there are 5,810 shareholders who own 340 million shares, whereas MGX has 10,000 shareholders who own 197 million shares.
The Top 20 in MGX hold 83% of shares, whereas in GRR the Top 20 only hold 70%.
Unless you're in the Top 20 of MGX its highly unlikely you'll ever make $$millions. Whereas with Grange there are far more shareholders outside the Top 20 who will make many $$millions.
