Happy to explain. Most shares move up and down each day by more than the six monthly dividend. Most people pay little attention to Dividends and a lot of attention to Capital growth or decline.
Then there is a much smaller group who obsess about dividends. 2 cents, 3 cents, 3.1 cents , 4 cents? To me they seem to be missing the bigger picture. But maybe that's just me.
