Howard government I recall had the AUD at 48 cents to the USD . . . but that was a long time ago.
Just for fun . . . applying 48 cents exchange rate would give us a whopping $456 aud per dmt at today's prices.
At the moment the AUD seems to be trending south so that will benefit GRR.
