Southdown is happening ! No doubt about it. I have been reading between the lines of Russell Clarke's quietly optimistic talks and his bewilderment of the SP being so cheap.
Why dredge the bay and defend the action if the decision to develop Southdown is not already made and some kind of announcement is imminent conerning funding.
I suspect Shagang (being a mjority owner) will in fact go to a Chinese state bank for a loan at mate's rates.
When Russell Clarke makes the announcement on the ASX, the panic buying could turn out to be euphoric.
Imagine how the broker community would react.
