    NEAT Group, which specializes in solutions for the health care sector, has acquired the Australian company TeleMedCare which concludes the project of technological convergence in the health care sector. Also able to increase its international presence and its sales force in the countries where the company is represented.
    TeleMedCare offers solutions for telemonitoring of patients with chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, or COPD, to improve care and quality of life. The investment made in its product the same name, TeleMedCare, is more than 10 million Euros. It employs 20 people and has offices in Australia, UK, USA and Canada, countries which are conducting telemedicine projects in both public administration and private companies.
    The TeleMedCare acquisition fits into the NEAT Group's strategy with its platform of health care and positions them in the world of telemedicine having the most advanced TeleHealth solution on the market. According to Adolfo Tamames, Chairman of NEAT group, "with the purchase of TeleMedCare, NEAT Group will increase by 20% its workforce. In terms of numbers, we estimate that over the next 5 years TeleHealth products will mean more than 50% of the turnover of the whole group”.

    Solution TeleMedCare

    TeleMedCare is a turnkey system which includes from the device, the connection to the system, maintenance and integration with databases. It is specially designed for use by health workers at home - telecare companies - or in clinics, hospitals and nursing homes.
    TeleMedCare device emphasizes ease of use, compact and ergonomic design. It has a large touch screen that guides the person in management. It is multi-user and includes biometric recognition through the user's fingerprint. It also has integrated mechanisms for measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, thermometer, electrocardiograph, spirometer, pulse oximeter, scales and meter, plus others that can be added.
    TeleMedCare system has a personalized agenda for each of the users where they remember their medication, visits to health centers and / or specialists and even a health test that can be filled by the patient. Patient information is available remotely through the service management platform NEAT Group, from which both the health personnel and the patient can access data from anywhere and securely.


    TeleMedCare has all the certificates and approvals required to market medical systems and telemonitoring of patients; these include the CE for Europe, the FDA for US and Canada and compliance with EN ISO 14971:2007, Medical Devices - Application of Risk Management to Medical Devices.
    For now, the NEAT group has presented the system to different service providers in Spain, including public administration with an important acceptance. The company expects soon to start some projects.
