Morning all ...... nice cooments
However, as much as I agree with most of the commentary on the thread, I think we have to be a little cautious with our timelines.
Yep, I know, "a handful of kids with beach spades and a good billy-cart" could send some of the very nicce Au from the oxidised zone, from memory around 19 metres from surface, straight to a toll plant in Kal and you would be in business !
I still keep an eye on ASX-GOR, who have just poured their first 1,139 Ozs ..... for a misely $2.2M ! Pretty good going and within good time frames.
But consider their (GOR) time frames and where ASX:BRB are going, how will they compare? I am using Calender QTR's +- a few days below .
1. Gruyere Discovery - mid late 2013
2. Maiden resource - mid 2014
3. Maiden Reserve & PFS - 1st QTR 2016
4. Native Title - Early 2nd QTR 2016
5. FS - Late 3rd QTR 2016
6. Gruyere JV - 4th QTR 2016
7. Construction Commenced - 1st QTR 2017
8. Mining Commenced - 3rd QTR 2018
9. Bingo Gold Poured - June QTR 2019 !
So from the above we can see from Discovery to Gold took them 6 years.
Can BRB challenge that? It will be very interesting to see the approach taken by BRB. Will they just "do it"?
What will be the different approaches taken by BRB as opposed to GOR in crerating an early cash flow?
GOR used a Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) because of the nature of the Reserve and had a plant operating quickly.
BRB as I read it from the BOD's approach, will probably begin with a first stage plant, using Gravity Separation. Now that could be quicker and have the capability of producing more Au over a given time than the approach used by GOR.
Regardless of Au recovery % from the Gravity approach indicated in the 5th Oct 2017 Report (39% ~), that ore will be stockpiled for the processing in the completed Leach Plant, which exhibited rapid leach kinetics of 90% in four hours with lesser reagents and modest energy requirements of 16kWh/t for fresh mineralisation.
So to me, BRB appear to be on track, maybe not as quickly as GOR, but I feel the time frame from a FS (will BRB go through all the various studies ... I dont know) but from a FS to Production, I have this inkling that BRB maye just do a bit better, who knows, please let me know?
Why should BRB be putting the "Pedal to the Metal" now you may ask?
My simple answer .......... POG, now above $2000AUD !
All of the above predictions & speculation I have derived to the best of my knowledge, from reports and data from ASX announcements.
Perdy, maybe you can chat Tom up, I'm sure you have the finesse and with you modest approach (perhaps a couple of fine bottles would go a long way as well ........ No, no, no, I am not suggesting bribery) just a nice PR approach !!! LOL
Be patient everyone, Rome was not built in a day, but perhaps Bombora may be because of POG.
We wait !
Cheers to ALL including Tom & his crew !
