I can maybe fill in a few gaps

Alpha was always considered an oil shale project and capital was never interested to get it off the ground. When SRK did a review back in early 2020 they came up with the bitumen idea. I believe they even had customer/offtake interest. Neil and Tony joined with Knox and idea has been developed to where we are now.

In testing I believe the torbanite had more gas than previously thought so it made sense to incorporate a small gas plant. I gather that developed into aiming for ESG credibility and net-zero with a small solar add-on and selling wholesale electricity.

Now I gather, Neil and Tony have spotted a bigger, better opportunity by incorporating geothermal and DLE. Note there's no packaged vend. Its direct to value add to shareholders. We just got to wait for the details.
